It was my first time coming to this place and it exceeded my expectation! Jay was such a great server and was very informative. My boyfriend and i ate like little fat freaks and was left beyond satisfied.

I finally made it to Bonchon and I can’t believe it took me this long. The chicken tenders are next level—perfectly crispy, juicy, and that soy garlic sauce? I’m officially obsessed. It’s the kind of flavor that keeps you coming back… which explains why I’ve been here three days in a row 😅 And the Bao buns?? Easily one of my favorite things on the menu. The staff is super welcoming and actually takes the time to walk you through everything, which I always appreciate. The sides are solid across the board, but I had to try the Korean corn dog—and I’m saying it confidently: best one I’ve had in Hampton Roads. If you’re looking for your next go-to spot, this is it. And if you’re trying to find me… there’s a very good chance I’m here.

Wow, so excited to finally try Bonchon! Jay was great, greeted us when we walked in and helped review popular items to order. The chicken was fire, so crisp! We also had the Japchae, cucumbers, corn and donuts—what an amazing meal. Def will be craving this place. Jay’s hospitality really added to the experience, hard to find good customer service these days!

Bonchon was excellent! The food was so good, and the service made the experience even better. We had the manager, Jay, who actually ended up waiting on us, and he was absolutely amazing. You can tell he truly takes pride in his work and in this location. He was attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had a great experience from start to finish. For the chicken, get the Classic Crunch with Yangnyeom sauce on the side. Definitely order it that way because “plain” is actually different and doesn’t have the same seasoning. We also had the pork belly kimchi fried rice, which was delicious, and the Korean street corn so good if you like corn, and yes, it comes with cheese. Jay even made us a special strawberry mango soju drink that was smooth and delicious. That was such a nice touch. They also have a sampler meal that’s definitely worth it. If two people each get one, you can choose two different chicken flavors and share, which lets you try a little of everything. And do not skip the fried donuts, they were soooo good! Overall, great food, great service, and Jay really made the visit memorable.

A nice little Korean restaurant inside the Hilltop Shopping Plaza at 1637 Hilltop West Shopping Center, Suite 1637, Virginia Beach. We stopped there because of its high ratings in Google Maps. Doesn’t disappoint. We were seated on the spot. Had fountain and bottle drinks. Ordered the Fried Rice with Bulgogi and just a Bulgogi plate. Ordered a small side of Kimchi. All dishes were served hot. Tastes were really good. Had the 2 Twisted Cinnamon Donuts for dessert. They came out warm and full of fresh flavor. Kudos to Bonchon Virginia Beach. Continue the good work. Thanks for a good eating experience.
